MANITOBA COMPENSATION FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME

If you are going through emotional pain/trauma as a result of sexual, physical, or emotional abuse committed against you, you might be eligible for funding from Manitoba Compensation for Victims of Crime. You might also be eligible for counselling services if you were a witness of the abuse committed towards someone else. Please contact Susan at (204) 770-5381 to receive an application form.

The crime must be reported to the police and you will receive incident #. Please bring your incident # with you on your first appointment.

WINNIPEG CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES

I am currently providing counselling services to Immigrant and Refugee families who are involved with Winnipeg Child and Family Services. My role is to provide emotional support through counselling to families and individuals of Winnipeg Child and Family Services. Our services are available in both Swahili and in English. MANITOBA SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM:“The Peaceful Village Project”

'The Manitoba School Improvement Program' provides funding for counselling to Immigrant and Refugee students and their families of Gordon Bell High School, Hugh John MacDonald Junior High School and other inner-city schools. To be eligible for free counselling services you must be a member of “The Peaceful Village Program”. Please contact their office at (204) 949-1856, 201- 357 Bannatyne Ave, to inquire more about membership.

WEST REGION CHILD AND FAMILY SERVICES

I am currently providing counselling services to First Nation families and Individuals clients of West Region Child and Family Services. My role is to provide emotional support through counselling to families and individuals of West Region Child and Family Services.
